History of Sprint

Sprint was custom designed, built, and named by renowned yacht-designer Alexander Simonis for his own father. Robertson and Caines, South African creator of the Leopard, built this project and the subsequent Norseman line, and the prototype design - the Simonis insignia copied throughout the catamaran world - became the standard for all catamarans to meet. Voyage bought out the Simonis mold and sells similar models for over $500K.

Simonis' father sailed Sprint from South Africa to the Netherlands; the second owner sailed the North Sea and down to the Caribbean; and the current owners who have barely tested her limits, used her as their home and hearth and Bahamas fun-platform for several years. She was always loved and has never been under charter.

The Norseman 400 is a durable, fast blue water cruising catamaran.  Combining high performance, style and comfort, she is well suited to private ownership and the crewed or bareboat charter trade.  Her interior is spacious and elegant, with four private double staterooms, two private head compartments and a bridgedeck that features a galley, semi circular settee with table and nav center.  Numerous touches of luxury have been incorporated into this yacht, making this a very livable boat for world cruising.
